My STORY & PHILOSOPHY

Hello, my name is Jamea Tanner. My creative journey began when I was eleven years old. Being homeschooled through Liberty Online Academy from 2014 to 2026 gave me the freedom to explore my interests and expand my artistic voice. Thought and expression became the foundation of both my life and my art.

 

Through drawing, painting, sewing, music, and singing, I learned that creativity is about more than making things; it's about sharing a part of yourself and connecting with others. My art is inspired by a love for individuality, self-expression, and the beauty found in everyday moments. I want my work to encourage others to embrace their own uniqueness and to find joy in what makes them different.

 

This philosophy is at the heart of my shop. Each print and t-shirt design is created with the hope that it brings color, meaning, and positive energy into your life. Whether you hang a print on your wall or wear art on your sleeve, my goal is to make creativity accessible and to help you celebrate who you are. My artworks "Liberty and Freedom" and "Hall of Independence" will be featured at the Crossroads Art Center in Henrico, Virginia, for the America at 250 exhibition from July 1-31.
